The Things You Never Did Before Online
For those of you who’ve never attempted an online business, you’ll have to come to terms with a few of the things you’ve never done before online.
In fact, one of the biggest obstacles to your success will be the fear of doing things you never used to do. And in the spirit of helping you to reach online business success, I’m going to try and take away some of the unknown.
First off, you’ll have to become comfortable working online. This differs from simply surfing and buying things, because you’ll have to work the ‘manager’s areas’ and back rooms of the online services you need.
Examples of this are
- Pay-per-click ad services
- Web hosting management pages
- And email marketing list maintenance.
While they’ll be more extensive than casual surfing or online shopping, remember that these services intend to keep you as a customer. Instructions and assistance are available for you, and they aren’t going to automatically do things behind your back that’ll hurt or cost you.
Plus, you’ll also have to learn how to outsource online. This is where you arrange for extra freelance assistance strictly over the Internet. This includes email correspondence and the fact most of your paperwork will be in the form of email. And if you can’t learn to do something you need or don’t have the time, you will need to outsource to have it done for you.
Last, remember that you are not alone. You aren’t the first to travel this particular path to success, and you can find help at forums like The Warrior Forum and other places. Blogs like this one have information for you too, and you should never let your knowledge fall behind.
My imagination was scarier that most of the realities when I first began, so once you have a plan in place, don’t be afraid to work it. Take your time and know your options, and you’ll do just fine.
